[And a couple minutes later he is at the door.]

[Terry greets him with a kiss and a hand pulling him gently toward the kitchen.]

You hungry?

[Maxxie's grinning so big.]

Nope. Got a hot date on Monday and I'm saving my appetite.

[traumatizing]

Yeah? [He's opening the fridge to root around for something to eat, but he pauses to raise an eyebrow at Maxxie.] Who's the lucky guy?

Well I don't wanna jinx it, but he is very handsome. [Maxxie wanders up to Terry to put his hands on him and give him a kiss.] I'm actually a bit nervous.

[Terry kisses him back briefly and grabs something edible-looking and a drink.]

I'm sure he'll be a real gentleman.

Hopefully not too much of a gentleman.

[He pulls back and leans against the counter with a smirk.]

I do want to get laid, after all.

And a gentleman would make sure all your needs are met.

[He says, gesturing with a slice of ham.]

[Maxxie grins. Again.]

Well, this date thing is sounding better and better all the time.

[traumatizing]

[Terry huffs a small laugh and looks at the piece of ham in his hand. Clearly he was planning to make a sandwich, but he's forgotten everything except the ham, so uh. He's just gonna eat it. Sexy right.]

Well, try not to forget about me when you've met the man of your dreams.

I could never forget a man who eats ham straight out of the package.

[Maxxie takes hold of the front of Terry's shirt and pulls him in so he can nuzzle his jaw a little bit.]

[Terry grins and puts an arm around Maxxie, (and closes the fridge because he's not an animal, tilting his head up to encourage more of this.]

[Maxxie grins and keeps going, kissing Terry's jaw and face affectionately.]

Uh. [Is he about to fail some relationship test? Shit. Okay. It's not Maxxie's birthday, and it's not his birthday...]

[UM.] I think it's Sunday?

[Maxxie laughs and shakes Terry gently by his shirt.]

It's Valentine's Day!

Oh shit.
