[This is a preview of their entire relationship. Terry looking confused and worried because Maxxie had to remind him of the date and now he's worried he's an awful boyfriend.]

I didn't get you anything. [UMMM] ... Do you want some ham...?

[Maxxie has to bite his lip to keep from laughing.]

I do not want ham. We've only been going out a month, so I think at most you are obligated to make out with me and order in pizza.

[His grin gets a little mischievous.]

And I've got some spliff I've been saving for a special occasion back in my room.

[Oh thank god. Terry's smile is kinda bashful, but he drapes his arms over Maxxie's shoulders and leans close to kiss him on the cheek. What a good and handsome boyfriend whose expectations are appropriately low for dealing with someone like Terry.]

So that's a no on the ham? It's the good stuff, none of that 'reformed pork' crap.

That's a no on the ham.

[Maxxie rests his palms flat on Terry's chest and leans in for a kiss.]

But I will make out with you, even though you've had the ham.

[Terry has such a big, dumb grin on his face right now.]

Okay. You get your stuff, and I'll order the pizza. [Brief kiss break] And then we can stay in all day.

[Terry's sitting on his bed with his laptop whenever Maxxie gets back. Playing a particularly intense game of Tetris now that the pizza's ordered.]

[Maxxie returns with a smile on his face (as always) and pulls out an already-rolled spliff and a lighter.]

You want to smoke it in here?

[traumatizing]

I always change my mind when it comes to going out anyway.

[He starts toward the bedside table to get out an ashtray, but it's a blip of a movement because this L block needs to fit in just so or he's gonna be stuck fixing rows for ages.]

[Riveting stuff.]

You, uh. You know where I keep the thing right?

[notahobby]

Yeah.

[Maxxie goes to Terry's bedside table to get the ashtray and puts it on the bed next to Terry. He sits down on the other side of it, sneaking a glance at Terry's screen. Then he sighs.]

Gonna need your hands for this, babe.

[traumatizing]

[Well that gets a noise of complaint, but this game's been around for like 100 years or something. It'll surely still be there tomorrow.]

[Please admire how he forces himself to close his laptop so he can recline against the headboard and look at Maxxie. Such powerful self-control.]

Okay, sorry. I'm all yours.

[Maxxie pulls the ashtray a bit closer as he leans against the headboard beside Terry, holding the joint between his lips and lighting it. He takes a couple drags before he holds it up for Terry, resting his head on Terry's shoulder with a pleased sigh.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry turns his head to kiss the top of Maxxie's head before he takes a drag. This is his favourite part of being with Maxxie probably-- not the weed, but just the casual intimacy. There hasn't been an awkward transitory period, like being a couple has just freed them to do the little things they've both been dying to.]

[He moves up a little closer to Maxxie, passing over the joint once he's done and turning his head to nose gently at his hair.]

[Maxxie feels the same way - he barely had to get used to the idea of being affectionate with Terry. It had always just been something he wanted to do and now he feels like he can do it as much as he wants.]

[Also the kissing. Which he turns his head up to do once he's taken another hit. He's not trying to delay giving it back but his boyfriend is so good why shouldn't he kiss him a bit.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry doesn't mind at all. He lifts a hand to cup the side of Maxxie's face with a pleased sigh. What a great boyfriend he has.]

[Maxxie pulls away for a second to take a short drag and then he kisses Terry again, exhaling gently. He laughs as he pulls away, mostly because he didn't expect himself to do that but here they are.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry grins and goes for another quick kiss when Maxxie pulls back, this time around resting his head on Maxxie's shoulder.]

I don't wanna get up when the food comes.

[Maxxie sighs and passes the joint to Terry.]

If we were in my room I'd bribe J to get it for us.

[traumatizing]

[Terry takes a drag and tilts his head up to kiss the underside of Maxxie's jaw.]

Do you think he'd come down and do it for us?

[A sigh.]

He's probably too busy committing bandcest in his room.

[traumatizing]

[Terry snorts and passes over the spliff as he leaves a few more small kisses along Maxxie's jaw and settles his head back on Maxxie's shoulder.]

Ugh, spending time with his boyfriend. [He shakes his head.] How could he.

God, Terry, what if they've fucked.

[Not "do you think" or "I hope they haven't".]

I don't think I can handle this.

[traumatizing]

[He immediately starts laughing and presses his face into the crook of Maxxie's neck with a groan.]

Don't say stuff like that.

You're right. If they're gonna have sex, better they do it with each other.

[traumatizing]

I can't even imagine-- Sora? [He shakes his head, still all pressed up against Maxxie's neck.] Nope.
