[Maxxie pushes his phone away.]

I'll text J.

[traumatizing]

Okay.

[He drops his phone on the bed and curls up at Maxxie's side. All nice and cosy.]

[And then as soon as Jamie's gone, Terry throws himself down on top of Maxxie and props himself up on an elbow so he can look down at his pouty boyfriend.]

So why the face?

[Maxxie shrugs a shoulder and takes a deep breath, then a drag from the joint before he answers.]

I dunno. Guess I was just surprised they had been going out all this time and didn't tell us, you know? We only found out 'cause we found them this morning.

[traumatizing]

[Terry sighs and sits up - he's kind of on Maxxie's stomach, but he also weighs next to nothing so it's probably fine. Either way, he reaches for Maxxie's free hand and frowns thoughtfully.]

It probably wasn't on purpose. [He shrugs] And, you know. Sometimes it's nice to... Have something that's just for you and someone else.

I know.

[He smiles up at Terry affectionately.]

It's just they're two of my best friends. I tell them almost everything. I told them about you pretty much the day I asked you to be my boyfriend.

[traumatizing]

[He brushes his thumb over Maxxie's knuckles.]

I guess it's different when you're in the same band.

[notahobby]

Yeah, guess so.

[A deep breath.]

I'm just bein' a brat. C'mere.

[traumatizing]

[Terry goes back to laying down as he was before, propped up on an elbow so he can admire Maxxie all fondly and whatnot, and he kisses him on the forehead while he's at it.]

Well I'm always here to put up with your brattiness.

[Maxxie cuddles himself in a little closer, nosing at Terry's jaw.]

Hopefully not too much.

[traumatizing]

[Terry grins and takes the spliff. Giving that some consideration.]

Guess I can always stop listening and think about how handsome you are if you get on my nerves.

[notahobby]

[Maxxie laughs.]

I am pretty handsome. I'm surprised you ever listen to me in the first place.

[traumatizing]

It's pretty hard. Especially when you've got your arms out on display too.

[Well there's something to be embarrassed about when sobriety catches him. Right now though, Terry puts his hand down on Maxxie's bicep and gives it a small squeeze for emphasis.]

[Maxxie bites his lip and lifts up an arm to flex and show off.]

They are two of my best features.

[traumatizing]

[Terry snorts and leans over to kiss it, and then rests his head down on Maxxie's chest with that grin on his face. Has he ever smiled so much in one go in his life? Absolutely not.]

I'm a big fan.

[Maxxie laughs and takes the spliff back, taking a puff before he puts it on the ashtray, which has been relocated to the bedside table.]

Well, I'm a big fan of all of you.

[Smooth.]

[traumatizing]

[THE MOST AWKWARD LAUGH IN ALL OF EXISTENCE. And Terry presses his face a little more against Maxxie like he's trying to hide.]

Shut up.

Nope.

[Maxxie wraps his arms around Terry any way he can manage, holding to his chest.]

You can't escape how much I like you. Sorry.

[traumatizing]

Apology accepted.

[Comes his muffled and petulant voice while he wills his face to be a little less red. God, he's fairly certain this never used to happen and then Maxxie turns up and he's blushing like crazy all the time.]

Guess I can't really complain about your bad taste anyway. It worked out pretty well for me.

Yeah, I mean, look what you get to have sex with.

[Maxxie gestures to himself even though Terry's not looking.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry laughs and turns his head to rest a bit more comfortably on Maxxie.]

Lucky me.

[100% genuine. He does feel pretty damn lucky here.]

[Maxxie grins, closing his eyes and enjoying just all the feelings that he's having right now, herbally-induced and not. He runs his fingers through Terry's hair and hums happily.]

You're perfect.

[He's not done with this affection thing just yet.]

[He whines softly and covers his face.]

No, stop.

[He keeps playing with Terry's hair.]

Too high to stop.

[traumatizing]

[Terry snorts a small laugh and shakes his head.]

I don't think that's true.
